When to take an online defensive driving course

Arlington Municipal Court does allow drivers to complete an online defensive driving course for certain moving or traffic violations. If you are interested in completing an online defensive driving course for your citation, you will need to contact Arlington Municipal Court to request eligibility. The court is the only entity that can grant eligibility.

When a driver successfully completes the six hour course, they will need to turn in all required paperwork to the court in the time allotted for the judge or court to dismiss the ticket. By meeting the terms set forth by Arlington Municipal Court, drivers can avoid the conviction from reflecting on their driving record. Drivers need to contact the court for further details on defensive driving eligibility.
